OUR FESTIVAL LOCATION
This year’s live Festival will be held in the lakeside village of Meggen, just a short distance from the picturesque Town of Luzern. With regular bus and train connections to and from Luzern into the village of Meggen Zentrum. This is an idyllic place for our Festival this year. https://www.meggen.ch
With plenty of places to eat and sleep locally - https://www.tourismus-meggen.ch/topics/aktivitaeten/essen including a restaurant inside the Gemeindehaus. Meggen has two rail stations, with Meggen Zentrum being located closest to our Festival location and just an 11 mins train ride from the centre of the city of Luzern, or a 24 min bus ride along the beautiful lakeside.
All evening events, exhibitors showcases and some lessons will be held at the Gemeindehaus in Meggen (Village Center), which has a wonderful concert venue at the Gemeindesaal. In addition to the Gemeindehaus, we are fortunate to have two other wonderful venues in which Masterclasses will be held. St Charles Hall and the Aula, n Meggen (both just a short walk (5-10 mins) from the main Village Center venue.

Meggen is close to Luzern with buses nearly every 15 mins to and from the center of town, there are a vast number of hotels and hostels to suit all budgets.

Zurich Airport is the closest airport.
There are direct trains from Zurich Airport to Luzern and connecting trains from Geneva & Basel Airports.

From Luzern to Meggen, you can either take the train from ‘Luzern Bahnhof’ (Main Station) to ‘Meggen Zentrum’ (twice hourly), or by bus number 24 which runs approximately 4 times every hour and stops close to several lakeside hotel locations en-route. Depart the bus at either ‘Schlössli’ or ‘Kapelle’, both stops situated just a 2-5 minute walk from our Festival venues. For train timetables click here.
